If you have had any experiences of a similar nature, feel free to tell us about it in the comments. I should add, before starting, that I am a skeptic; I have written this list for entertainment value.

Top 10 Occurrences Before and After Death

10  Death Rattle
Lord-Byron-On-His-Death-Bed-1
The death rattle is a common term used in the hospital to describe the chilling sound made by an individual very near death. It occurs after loss of the cough reflex and loss of the ability to swallow. This causes an excess accumulation of saliva in the throat and lungs. Although it rarely causes pain to the patient, family members often find the sound unsettling and disturbing. Anyone who has ever heard the unsettling death rattle will never forget the way it sounded. Suctioning, anti-pain and anti-anxiety medications are normally administered to alleviate the patient’s discomfort, and to allow the unavoidable dying process to proceed. Top 10 Common Historical Myths

Over the course of many years, we come to believe certain things to be historical facts when in fact, they are not. These historical errors have passed down through the ages and continue to mislead people.

10. Abner Doubleday Invented Baseball
Image-1-2
This very common myth of baseball credits Doubleday with inventing the game, supposedly in Elihu Phinney’s cow pasture in Cooperstown, New York, in 1839. In 1905, a committee was appointed to investigate the origins of the game, their conclusion was:

Top 10 bizarre factlets

1. Pareidolia (pictured above) is the psychological phenomenon in which people see shapes or hear sounds which they consider to be significant when they are not (and in some cases, don’t exist at all). The most common example of this is the alleged hearing of phrases when playing records backwards. This is also frequently the cause of so-called miracles in which religious figures appear in toast, or clouds, or stains on every day objects.

Top 10 must see horror films of decade

1 Let Me In / Let The Right One In: Its a bit odd listing both I admit but for me they both are quite good with their own merits. The orginal is vicious, intense and a truly fantastic take on the vampire genre with a strong mix of human interest and pre teen love. The remake by Matt Reeves is pretty close to a scene by scene remake but also offers enough new aspects to make it a worthy remake and a film that can stand on its own.

Top 10 Reasons You Should Quit Facebook

10. Facebook's Terms Of Service are completely one-sided

Facebook's Terms Of Service state that not only do they own your data (section 2.1), but if you don't keep it up to date and accurate (section 4.6), they can terminate your account (section 14). You could argue that the terms are just protecting Facebook's interests, and are not in practice enforced, but in the context of their other activities, this defense is pretty weak.

9. Facebook makes it incredibly difficult to truly delete your account

It's one thing to make data public or even mislead users about
